Wake for the Abby G
When I came aboard this vessel in Norfolk back in April, the ship's house looked as if the last crew had just walked away, which was very strange because usually when a ship is sold or turned over to a new crew the quarters and spaces are all clean and in good order.
Everything here was a mess and the galley was really bad.
I arrived three days before the rest of the crew was due so I could order stores and get the galley in order.
When the crew came aboard, I found out that most were very inexperienced.
The two Ordinary Seamen were fresh out of school as were the DEU and the Steward assistant.
