WCFA’S featured pet is Bella. Bella is a pug/beagle mix. She is eight years young, spayed and current on vaccines. Bella is house trained and does well with everyone. She is a friendly, loving lady. Bella enjoys going for walks and just hanging out with her human. She interacts well with other dogs and with children.

CATS—Zayn: Zayne is about a year old. Zayn is a gorgeous looking cat, but is often overlooked because he appears so shy. Zayn has made a complete turnaround and has turned into an affectionate, loving cat, when placed in a home environment as an only pet or if you are interested in two cats, Zayn does get along great with Beamer. Once he feels secure in a home, his true, very affectionate personality comes out. Zayn just needs the opportunity to show you how loving and sweet he can be.
Whitey and Mocha: Two very sweet orange and white kittens. They are social and very active. They are about 13 weeks old , altered, and have received their second set of vaccines.
BEAMER: Beamer needs a forever home Our sweet Beamer has been in foster care for quite some time and we just can’t believe someone has not taken this sweet boy. He would make a great family “treat” for Halloween. Beamer is a very friendly guy, loves belly rubs and will come to greet you in his foster home. Beamer would enjoy being the only cat or in a home with another calm cat. He would be good for an individual who wants a loving companion or a nice couple. He is neutered and current on his vaccines.
DOGS—Hamilton: is a Heinz 57 dog with some heeler and possibly hound or dobie somewhere in the mix. He is about 5 months old and still learning to walk well on leash and show good manners. Hamilton is very sweet but needs someone with patience to help him along with his training. He is now house trained to a dog door. Hamilton came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. He has a limp on his back left leg. WCFA is working with the vet to determine the best care for Hamilton. Hamilton’s limp does not slow him down. He loves to run and to play with other dogs.
Tucker: a schnauzer mix, is available for adoption through We Care for Animals. Tucker was returned to us after being with a nice couple for a year and a half because he preferred the wife over the husband. We don’t know what happened earlier in Tucker’s life that has caused him to favor a woman over a man, but we are determined to find Tucker the right home where he and his person is happy.

WCFA offers a wonderful low-cost/free opportunity to spay/neuter your pets to prevent accidental litters and keep your pet happy and healthy. We will always alter feral cats to be released back in their environment. Our target areas are Mesquite, Bunkerville and the Arizona Strip. Spay/Neuter Assistance Applications are available at Mesquite Veterinary Clinic located at 371 Riverside Road and Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital at 660 Hardy Way.
