The Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra under the direction of maestro, Dr. Selmer Spitzer, is excited to be featuring D.J. Barraclough, a renowned trumpet soloist, who performed many years with the nationally known Dallas Brass, the Utah Symphony, the Lex Arapahoe Philharmonic, and the Lawrence Welk Orchestra.  D.J. will be performing Haydn’s “Trumpet Concerto.”  Also featured during the November 17 Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra concert will be D.J.’s wife, Liahona Barraclough, a professional musician in her own right, playing R.V. Williams’ “Tuba Concerto.”  Liahona has been a soloist with the B.Y.U. Philharmonic, and the Southern Utah Symphony.  Many of her fine performances may be found on YouTube.

The Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra and its featured soloists will be performing in the showroom of the CasaBlanca Resort Casino on Saturday, November 17, at 7:30 P.M.  Tickets can be purchased at the box office window with all seats reserved.
