Chamber announces new CEO

The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce and Board of Directors would like to welcome the new Mesquite Chamber President/CEO, Carol Kolson, as of September 5, 2018.

Carol was selected by the Board of Directors after a two-month search.

Carol previously served as President/CEO of the Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce, a Regional Chamber located in Tukwila, Washington. During her time as a member of the Chamber, she also held the Chair position, Golf Tournament Chair, Funding and Events Committee and the Ambassador Committee.

Community outreach and non-profits have played a large part in Carols life during her 30-year banking career. She has spent many years volunteering for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Domestic Abuse Women’s Network, Junior Achievement, United Way and Rotary. She has also spent time teaching financial literacy classes for the YWCA, and other non-profits.

Carol resides in Sun City, Mesquite with her husband John who works for The Boeing Company. Carol is looking forward to working with the Board of Directors, Chamber staff, and the Chamber members.
