Bipartisan Majority of Mayors Endorse Adam Laxalt for Governor

The list represents mayors from all corners of the state and cities that are both large and small.

Today, eleven mayors from across the state of Nevada announced that they are endorsing Adam Laxalt for Governor. The list includes Republican, Independent, and Democratic mayors and represents a majority of the mayors in the state. This announcement follows the endorsements of Oscar Goodman, former mayor of Las Vegas and Bob Cashell, the former mayor of Reno.

“We’ve been working with leaders in all zip codes and all political parties to get results for the people. It has been a privilege to serve alongside these mayors, protecting Nevadans as Attorney General. As Governor, I’ll keep working with everyone to improve education, create more prosperity, and keep people safe,” said Adam Laxalt.

Sparks Mayor Geno Martini: “I know that Adam Laxalt’s leadership will help Nevada improve education, create more prosperity, and keep families safe. He’s a proven leader, and I’m proud to support him.”

Winnemucca Mayor Di An Putnam: “Adam Laxalt has stepped up to defend Nevada’s unique identity over and over again. He’s pushed back on the federal government when they go too far and defended our principles. I trust him to lead our state in the years to come.”

Mesquite Mayor Al Litman: “Adam Laxalt represents everyone. It doesn’t matter what their political party is or where they’re from. He cares about them. I know he’ll make an excellent Governor.”

Elko Mayor Chris Johnson: “Adam Laxalt puts the people first—not politics. He’s gotten results as Attorney General and will be a bold leader as Governor.”
