Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 48 calls this week:

June 24:

Chest Pain: Rescue 11 responded to report of a person with chest pain. Individual denied transport

June 25:

Diabetic: Rescue 11 responded to report of a Diabetic Problem. One patient was transported to a local hospital.

June 26:

Dead Body:  Rescue 11 responded to reports of a body found. Rescue 11 confirmed death of body found. Rescue 11 cleared from call.

June 27:

Hazmat: Rescue 11 and engine 31 responded to the Virgin River for a hazard material spill. Hazard Material spill contained and cleaned. All units cleared from scene.

June 28:

Convulsions: Rescue 31 & 32 responded to a report of a patient convulsing. Patient refused transport to hospital.

June 29:

Unconscious: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of an unconscious person. Patient refused transport to the hospital
