Rec Center pool won’t be available during Manta Rays’ swim meets on June 23 and July 14

The Mesquite Manta Rays Swim Team will be hosting the season dual swim meets on the following Saturdays, June 23 and July 14, at the Mesquite Recreation Center Outdoor pool. According to Kennedi Ludvigson, Swim Team Head Coach, the outdoor pool will be closed to the general public on Saturday’s specified till 3:00 p.m.

“We will have around 80 of our own swimmers from the Mesquite Manta Ray swim team participating in the Swim Meets; we are expecting around another 50-60 swimmers from Dixie State, Fredonia and Hurricane for the dual meet said Ludvigson.

Nicholas Montoya, Department Director said, “We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause any one; but our indoor pool will be open at the regular times during the event and of course both splash pads are open and operational for the public.”
