May 6:

Falls: Rescue 11 was dispatched to a lift assist on male subject. EMS provided

Manpower to male and helped him off the floor and back into his recliner. Rescue 11 cleared the scene and went available.

Falls:  Rescue 11 was dispatched for a lift assist. EMS provided manpower to male subject, helping him to bathroom. Rescue 11 cleared the scene and went available.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to an elderly male needing physical assistance; assisted elderly male.

Diabetic:  Rescue 11 and 31 dispatched to a report of a patient having possible diabetic symptoms. Patient was treated for anxiety symptoms and refused transport to hospital.

Sick Person:  R-11 and 32 dispatched to a report of a person acting confused. Patient was transported to a local hospital.

Diabetic:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a patient with hyperglycemia. Patient was transported to the local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to a patient complaining of right ankle pain due to a mechanical fall. Patient signed out against medical advice.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to a patient complaining of back pain due to a mechanical fall. Patient was transported to a hospital in St George.

Overdose:  Rescue 11 dispatched to a report of a patient who drank too much alcohol. Pt was transported to a local hospital.

May 7:

Fire:  Engine 31 and Rescue 31 responded to a smoke investigation behind a business on W. Mesquite Blvd. Found an illegal burn that had been extinguished prior to arrival.

Falls:  Rescue 11 responded to a fall. Patient denied transport.

Patient Transport:  Request for transport to St George area hospital; transported by other agency.

Patient Transport:  Request for transport from local hospital to St. George area hospital; cancelled per hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to a request for a transport to a St. George area hospital; transported one patient to St. George.

Unconscious:  Rescue 31, Battalion 3, and Rescue 11 responded to a local clinic for an unconscious person. Patient transported to local hospital.

Unconscious:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to an unconscious person; transported one patient to local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 32 responded to a fall. One person assisted off the floor and denied further assistance.

Patient Transport:  Request for transport to Las Vegas area hospital; handled by another agency.

Falls:  Rescue 32 responded to a complaint of a person falling. No patients transported.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to assist 1 person who had fallen.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 and 32 dispatched to a report of a patient with breathing difficulty. Patient transported to local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to assist 1 person who had fallen.

May 8:

Diabetic:  Rescue 11 and Truck 11 responded to a diabetic problem. Patient was treated and denied transport to hospital.

MVA:  with Injury Truck 11 Responded to I-15 mm 98 to assist Clark County Fire with difficult extrication. Las Vegas Fire Heavy Rescue still is working on extrication when Truck 11 was allowed to return to Mesquite.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to a fall. Assisted up and denied need of further assistance.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded to a sick person; transported patient to local hospital.

Breathing

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 responded to a call for a sick person. Rescue 31 transported to local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 11 responded to call for a fall. Patient refused transport.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to a local hospital for an inter facility transport. Rescue 31 transported to a St George area hospital.

Fire:  Engine 31, Truck 11, Rescue 31, Chief 2 and Chief 1 responded to a fire alarm at a local casino. On arrival smoke was coming from the roof and extended to the interior. All occupants evacuated. Fire was found and extinguished in an Air Conditioning unit.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to the local hospital for a inter facility transport. Rescue 31 transported to a local Utah hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded to reported of a sick person. One person transported to a local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to the local hospital for a inter facility transport. One transported to a local home in Mesquite.

Falls:  Rescue 11 was dispatched to a person involved in a fall. One transported to the local hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 responded to a report of a sick person. One transported to the local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to a fall victim; transported one to local hospital.

Sick Person: Rescue 11 responded to a sick person; transported one to St. George area hospital.

May 10:

Fire Alarm:  Engine 31, Truck 11, and Rescue 32 dispatched to the school for a fire alarm. Smoke from burnt food found to cause alarm. Ventilation performed and alarm system reset.

Chest Pain:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 33 responded for a person with chest pain. One patient was transported to a local hospital.

Unknown Problem:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 33 dispatched to residence for a unknown man down. One patient transported to a local hospital.

Choking:  Rescue 33 dispatched to a child choking. One patient transported to a local hospital.

Heat/Cold:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 33 responded to report of person with heat related issues. One person was transported to local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 32 dispatched to Mesa View Hospital for an interfacility transport to Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 responded to a call for a sick person. Rescue 31 assisted the pt, pt refused transport to the hospital.

Sick Person:  Medical device assist; public assist.

 

May 11:

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 responded to a patient complaining of bleeding. Patient was transported to local hospital.

Convulsions:  Rescue 11 and 32 dispatched to a report of a patient having seizures. Patient was transported to a local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 11 Dispatched to a report to a patient that fell in a parking lot.

Patient refused transport to hospital and requested to further medical assistance.

Unconscious:  Rescue 11 and Engine 11 responded to Dialysis center for a report of an unconscious patient. Patient transported to local hospital.

Patient Transport:  R-32 Transported 1 patient from local hospital to local care facility.

Special Event:  Engine 31 and Truck 31 went to Virgin Valley Elementary school to spray water for kids field day.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to the local hospital for a patient transport to a Las Vegas area hospital.

Diabetic:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to a patient complaining of a diabetic emergency. Patient refused transport.

Odor Investigation:  Engine 31 and Rescue 11 responded to investigate odor within facility. Odor was unfounded.

Pregnancy:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a patient complaining of possible pregnancy complications. Patient transported to the local hospital.

Back Pain:  Rescue 11 responded to a patient complaining of chronic back pain. Patient transported to local hospital per patient request.

Special Event:  Rescue 11 provided EMS standby for the Special Olympics Torch Walk.
