Basketball fundemental skills camp

Come join Barry Hecker, former NBA Coach. Coach Barry Hecker has coached for 40 years, 21 of those years in the NBA. He organized and directed the highly successful Adrian Dantley Camp. He has conducted numerous clinics here and internationally, China, Turkey, Italy, Senegal and the Netherlands.  He recently produced two videos; “Create the Perfect Jump Shot” and “Building Players from the Ground Up”, for elementary and junior high players, by Championship Productions.  Do you want your son or daughter to learn how to play basketball the right way? This camp stresses the fundamentals of basketball that will last a lifetime.


The Fundamental Skills Camp provides campers with age specific group and individual instruction that will aide in the improvement of fundamental basketball skills. Camp will include skill development sessions focused on making each camper a well-rounded basketball player.  Our goal is to help each athlete on their journey to reaching their full potential on the court.


Campers will benefit from 3 days of detailed instruction; fundamental skills will be taught and practiced so that good habits are created. Camp will also include scrimmages, competitions and challenges. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to receive instruction that is guaranteed to make you a better basketball player. Registration and camp fees include all instruction and a camp shirt; please inquire with the Mesquite Recreation Center. Please wear proper shoes and attire for the camp.


Grade 3rd – 9th Boys and Girls. Camp will be held March 26 – 28, 2018 at the Mesquite Recreation Center, 9:00AM – 11:00AM.
