Truck Stop breaks ground in Arizona

A lone tractor was moving dirt at the location of Arizona’s newest truck stop on June 16. The location is off of Exit 9 southbound on I-15 and will require a reconstruction of the exit from both directions to accommodate semi-trucks and other high-profile vehicles once it is closer to completion. It will be a race to the finish for two area truck stops that are both in the process of preparing the land they will be building on.

In addition to 333 Eagles Landing at Exit 118 in Mesquite, there is a truck stop also preparing ground at Exit 9 at Desert Springs, right across the freeway from Beaver Dam Fire Department’s Station 2.

Details about the new Arizona truck stop are being kept close to the vest, but some believe there will be a Subway restaurant as well as a locally owned burger place within the building. Other details such as franchise and size information will be released at a later date.

With the construction of the new truck stop in Arizona, there will most likely need to be a redesign of the exit from both north and south I-15.
