June 20, 1906: Rio Virgin Horse breeders Association closed a deal to import a fine Percheron Stallion from France for the cost of $3,600.

June 17, 1910: Levi Hancock a local resident brought the first motorcycle to town.

June 20, 1913: David Houston has gone to work on the tunnel that is being made to turn the water in the river while the dam is being made.

June 21, 1913: The school census has been completed throughout the county and the reports turned into Deputy Superintendent B.G.Beasdale and approved by him.

The total for the county numbers 763 divided among the districts as follows: Eldorado 3, Goodsprings 28, Warmsprings 4, St Joe 31, Searchlight 23, Moapa 16, Kaolin 17, St Thomas 51, Las Vegas 290, Bunkerville 107, Mesquite 107 and Virgin (Overton) 81.

June 19, 1980: New Mesquite Post Office opens on Sandhill B-4-9.

June 20, 2013: Nevada State Fire Training conference held at the Eureka.
