June 18:

Property damage, Non-vandalism: Officer took a report of damage to city property.

Weapon offense: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. The driver was in possession of a firearm and was arrested for possession of a firearm by a restricted person, obstructing, and traffic offenses.

June 19:Wanted person: On June 19, 2017 at approximately 08:30 hours, I responded to the lobby at 500 Hillside Dr. regarding a male later identified as Gonzales, David with a 440M out of Mesquite Municipal Court.Warrant #08TR002158Q with a bail amount of $1655.00 was confirmed with a hardcopy by Amy Gail of Mesquite Municipal Court. Gonzales was taken into custody without incident. Nothing further.Officer Rodriguez, 6164

Assault/Battery: An officer responded to the Police Department reference an assault. The investigation is ongoing.Property damage, non-vandalism: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business on a report of a broken window. Photos and a report was taken.Lost Property: Officer took a report of a lost cell phone. Officer obtained owners info and after locating the phone it was returned to the rightful owner.Property damage, Non-Vandalism: Officer completed a report of property damage.Wanted person: Officer made contact with a female with a warrant. Said female taken into custody.June 20: Civil Matter: Officer responded to a reported Kidnapping. After further investigation, it was determined it was a civil custody matter.

Theft: Officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino regarding a stolen bottle of wine. Suspect was

trespassed.

Property damage, non-vandalism: An officer responded to a Moss Dr. residence on a report of a broken window. Photos were taken and a report was completed.

Theft: Officer responded to the police lobby to take a theft report. The reporting person stated they left her wedding ring at her place of employment and wanted to report it missing/stolen.

Suicidal person: Officer responded to the Detention Center to assist correction officers with an

inmate who had attempted to cut himself with a foreign object.

Traffic Accident w/ Damage: Police responded to a property damage call at the Haley Way condos. It appeared a

vehicle hit the exterior of the wall of the condo causing a high amount of damage and left the scene. The investigation is still on going.

Loitering: Officers responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence for a report of several people looking and trying to get into a residence. Officers contacted several individuals who were later arrested for Engaging in Drug Related Activity.June 21:Lost Property: Officer responded to the lobby of the police department for a report of a resident reported losing her prescription medication. Resident needed a police report to get her medication replaced.June 22:Fraud: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. casino reference a male attempting to pass fraudulent currency as payment. Officer located the male, took possession of the currency and took the male into custody.Dead body: A request for a welfare check was conducted by an Officer. The officer located the male deceased. Clark County Coroner Investigator responded and completed an investigation.Suspicious person: Citizen came into the police department to report possible identity fraud. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.Theft from vehicle: Officer responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. store for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Report was taken.Suspicious person: Officer responded for a report of a suspicious incident at a local department store. Information was gathered and forwarded for further investigation.Dead body: A request for a welfare check was conducted by an officer. The officer located the male deceased. Clark County Coroner Investigator responded and completed an investigation.Suspicious person: Citizen came into the police department to report possible identity fraud. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: Officer responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. store for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: Officers spoke with an individual who had questions regarding child custody

laws. The subject was referred to the Clark County Family Courts for further information.

June 23:

Suspicious person: Officers observed a suspicious vehicle, occupied by two subjects at a Hafen Ln. park. Officers spoke with the occupants and advised them the park was closed for the night. Both occupants left without incident.

Dead body: An officer responded to a residence reference a deceased person. The corner responded for an investigation.

Fraud: An officer completed a report of a fraud. A citation to serve was completed on an adult male subject.

Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: An officer responded to a residence and helped answer questions regarding child

custody.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a single vehicle traffic accident.

Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a traffic accident involving two vehicles. A report was completed.

Traffic stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The adult male driver was arrested for a local bench warrant and traffic offenses.Domestic violence: Officers responded to a Riverside Rd. residence reference a domestic battery. Officers spoke to the victim who stated the other half left prior to police arrival. Officers will attempt to locate the suspect and issue a citation for domestic battery.June 24:Minor Gambling: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino reference a minor gambling. The minor was issued a citation and released without further incident.Theft from vehicle: An officer responded to a residence reference a theft of personal property. A report was taken and the case was forwarded to detectives.Dead body: An officer responded to a residence reference a deceased person. The corner responded for an investigation.Threatening: Police took a report for threats made.Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino parking lot for a vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was discovered a vehicle rolled out of its parking space by being left in neutral and hitting another parked vehicle.Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a non-injury accident on the off ramp of I-15 northbound exit 120.Theft: Officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business for a trailer which had been stolen. Investigation is ongoing.
