May 21:

Wanted person: An officer contacted a female on Hillside Dr. and learned she had a felony warrant for her arrest. The female was arrested and transported for extradition.

Domestic Violence: Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute in progress on Kalanchoe Way. There was no evidence of a crime, and both parties were separated.

Assault: Officers responded to a reported battery. It was determined no crime was committed, and the complainant was too intoxicated to give a consistent statement.

DUI: Officer made contact with an intoxicated male in a vehicle. The male failed field sobriety and was arrested for DUI.

Suspicious person: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. residence for a property damage incident. The victim was intoxicated and uncooperative, and did not want the police to investigate the incident or complete a report.

Battery on person: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault at an E. Pioneer Blvd.  hotel. Upon further investigation it was determined that a Battery had occurred and the victim refused to sign a citation on the suspect.

Lost property: Officer took a report of a lost cell phone.

May 22:

Citizen assist: An officer responded to a Mesa Blvd. complex reference a citizen assist incident regarding a vehicle. An information report was completed.

Property damage, non-vandalism: The officer was dispatched to a resident for property damage to a vehicle. There are no suspects or witnesses to the incident.

Lost property: Officer took a report of a lost set of keys on Thistle St.

Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a report of a two car collision w/o injuries.

Phone harassment: Officer met with two parties regarding vehicle ownership. Officer advised parties concerned that it was civil and would need to be handled through the civil courts.

Miscellaneous CAD call record: Officers responded to the police department lobby in reference to a juvenile problem.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to a local parking lot reference a private property vehicle accident.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to a local highway reference a traffic accident.

May 23:

Property Damage, non-vandalism: An officer responded to a report of graffiti on the lower west side portion of the Bunkerville Bridge.

Found property: An officer responded to the lobby in reference to a found cell phone.

Civil matter: An officer responded to the lobby in reference to a civil matter.

Wanted person: Detectives arrested a female on Colleen Ct. who had an active warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court.

Controlled substance problem: Detectives arrested a female with an active warrant. Search incident to arrest recovered methamphetamine and a smoking device on her person.

Theft from vehicle: An officer completed a report of theft from a motor vehicle.

Property Damage, non-vandalism: Officer responded to a Kitty Hawk Rd. storage facility for a property damage report. It appears someone had hit the gate exiting the property and bent it. A report was taken.

Civil dispute: Officer responded to a local residence for a report of a father and son arguing outside of their residence. The RP stated the two individuals separated and went different ways and would still like an officer to drive through the area. Upon driving through the area there was no one around at that time.

Theft: An adult female was cited for theft of property and was given a court date.

May 24:

Theft: While on another call, officers took a report of a theft from an individual at a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino.

Agency assistance: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. hotel for a report of an agency assist for a male subject possibly deceased. Officer determined the subject was deceased and contacted the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Found property: Officer responded to a report of a found bicycle. Officer took custody of the bicycle. Officer was unable to identify the owner. Bicycle was stored for safekeeping.

Property damage, non-vandalism: Officer responded to a Megan Cir. residence reference property damage to a vehicle. Officer contacted male who advised sugar had been poured into the gas tank of his truck. Investigation is ongoing.

Recovered stolen vehicle: Officer responded to a local casino for a report of a possible located stolen vehicle out of another jurisdiction. Officer located the vehicle and contacted the reporting agency. Vehicle was towed for safekeeping until the owner could take possession.

Attempt to locate: Officers located a vehicle related to missing/endangered children case from Utah.  A traffic stop was made, and information was relayed to investigators in Utah.

May 25:

Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: Officer responded to a Chaparral Dr. residence for a report of a citizen requesting to turn a firearm into police to be destroyed. The Officer took possession of the firearm and booked it into property to be destroyed.

Theft: Officers responded to a W Pioneer Blvd.  retail store reference a theft.  A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.

Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a local address, in reference to a minor traffic accident.

May 26:

Found property: Officer took a report of found property. Property recovered and placed into safe keeping.

Truancy: Officer responded to a Hillside Dr. school in reference to a truant student.

Attempt to locate: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. car dealership for a report of a missing vehicle.Property damage, non-vandalism: Officer responded to a property damage on private property and a driver’s exchange form was completed.May 27:Trespassing: An officer was dispatched to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to a trespass.

 

 

Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officers responded to a Sage Way residence and completed a report of property damage.

Theft: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business on a reported shoplifting. Officer obtained information and suspect was released with a citation and court date.

Agency assistance: An officer was dispatched reference a fraud report. The adult female complainant reported her debit card was used fraudulently. Officer gathered the necessary information and completed a report.

Battery on person: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. residence for a report of a domestic battery that occurred earlier in the day. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.
