As part of a business challenge, Primex Plastics made a generous donation to several members of the Mesquite Works board and their volunteers on April 5, with a check of $1,000 to go towards their operating and training efforts.

“It is absolutely fantastic to have such top-notch businesses here in Mesquite that help in so many ways,” said Vista Volunteer Maggie Calhoun. “Every little bit helps, and we wouldn’t be able to help grow Mesquite’s workforce without it.”

The donation kicks off Calhoun’s efforts along with the Fundraising Committee to raise over $15,000 and cover the non-profit’s expenses for the rest of the year.
