Daniel Thomas Mossbarger, 70, passed away on March 11, 2017 in Mesquite, NV. Daniel was born on December 27, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Frank Wilbur Mossbarger and Helen Maslow. He met the love of his life, Cathie Meyer in February 1986.

Daniel was a proud Army Veteran, and was honorably discharged, was a member of the California American Legion for over thirty years. After leaving the Army, Daniel worked for KCET the Los Angeles PBS Station for thirty-nine years as a production engineer. He loved to wear cool socks to work, and was well-known for his wild colors. Daniel’s favorite pastime was collecting records, 78’s and 45’s, and all types of music. He also enjoyed walking and riding his bike with Cathie. Daniel will be greatly missed by Mr. Brat the cat, who was his buddy, and enjoyed their jaunts in the backyard.

Daniel is survived by his life partner, Cathie Meyer, his seven brothers; Jim, Jan, Frank (Janice), Tony (Maureen), Ted (Kathy), Larry, Tim (Connie), and his two sisters; Marsha Anderson and Maria (Keith) Richter.

Memorial Services will be held at the Riverside Veteran’s Cemetery in Riverside, CA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a Veteran’s organization of your choice.
