Thanks to the Rising Star
The District 46 Lions Clubs, which is the entire state of Nevada and two clubs in California, held their quarterly cabinet meeting in Mesquite this past weekend. The entire event was held at the Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort. I cannot say enough great things about the staff of that wonderful resort in Mesquite. Bill and I were in charge of this event since we live here. They made it so easy. We told them what we needed and they provided it. We had close to 100 attendees and they were so impressed that they want to come back again next year. The rooms were wonderful, service was terrific and they were so accommodating. Lots of kudos to Sheree and Jo, who made sure we had absolutely wonderful food served on time. The chef was terrific, sorry I do not know his name. The City of Mesquite should be so proud of this establishment. We will be back for another cabinet meeting at some time in the future!
