WHY:              The Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) was introduced in August 2016. Since that time, several activities have been implemented or completed. This event will highlight progress that has been made to date. The CHIP is a collaborative effort of the Southern Nevada Health District, its partner agencies, and stakeholders to identify and address public health disparities in Southern Nevada. The CHIP is a template to coordinate community-wide efforts and resources to make an impact on the health of Southern Nevadans.

WHO:             Representatives from the Southern Nevada Health District, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the UNLV School of Medicine and the School of Community Health Sciences, and the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada will provide updates.
