Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. This week, there were 143 total incidents in the blotter:

Nov. 13:
Trespassing: An officer responded to a Mesa Blvd. Casino for a female subject who had been previously trespassed. The female was issued a citation for trespassing. The female left property and warned not to return.
Found Property: Officer responded to a call of found property. Officer recovered a cell phone that was found on Mesquite Heights Road.
Lost Property: Report completed for a lost wallet.
Nov. 14:
Burglary: Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a Second North St. residence.
Animal complaint: Officer observed a stray dog in an empty lot. Call was given to animal control. Phone Harassment: Officer responded to a local Government building regarding harassing phone calls. Officer spoke with the complainant and the caller and advised to stop calling unless it’s a legitimate concern.
Phone Harassment: Officers responded to a Sage Way residence on a report of harassment.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: Officer responded to the Mesquite Police Department (MPD) located at 695 Mayan Circle on a report of a recovered stolen vehicle. Officer obtained all information and a report was taken.
Stolen Vehicle: Officer responded to the lobby of the police department on a report of a stolen trailer. All information was obtained and a report taken.
Stolen Vehicle: Officers responded to a stolen ATV call at a Kitty Hawk Dr. residence. A report was taken and attempts to locate the ATV are ongoing.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Report completed for property damage to a vehicle.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino to assist with a private property vehicle accident.
Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: Male called the Police to make a verbal report his ex-wife yelled at him and pushed him into a door. No injuries or marks reported.
Nov.15:
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officers responded to a report of property damage by unknown person.
Mental Person: Officers responded to a unknown problem after someone called 911.
Theft: An Officer took a civil report concerning the ownership of a chair. Information was gathered and report completed.
Trespassing: An Officer took a report of a verbal dispute between a past Boy and girl friend. The dispute was concerning a cell phone and was reported as a matter of record.
Fraud: Officer responded to the Police Department on a report of fraud. Officer obtained information and the report will be forwarded to Detectives.
Fraud: Officer responded to a Falcon Nest Ct. residence regarding a fraud. Officer obtained all information and a report was taken.
Attempt to Locate: Officers located a runaway juvenile from Utah. Result of an investigation lead to the arrest of an adult for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Runaway was transported to CCJC.
Nov. 16:
Burglary: Officer responded to a report of a burglary that occurred at a Buteo Bend residence. Officer took the report, gathered evidence and investigation is ongoing.
Fraud: Officer responded to the police department for a report of a fraud. Officer took the report of fraudulent activity with bank account and investigation is ongoing.
Phone Harassment: An officer took a report of an on-going neighbor dispute on Fairways Dr.
Theft from vehicle: Officer took a report of a theft from a vehicle at a W. Mesquite Blvd. garage. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.
Nov. 17:
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Mesquite Officer responded to a Woodbury Ln school reference a juvenile problem.
Theft from vehicle: An officer took a report on a theft from a vehicle on Buteo Bend.
Theft: An officer responded to a n E. Mesquite Blvd. motel in reference to a theft.
Wanted person: Officers responded to the Mesquite Detention Center reference a wanted person. One adult male was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant.
Burglary: Officers responded to a hotel room reference a burglary report. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Nov. 18:
Found Property: An officer took a report for a found wallet.
Agency Assistance: Officer assisted Metro with questions.
Lost Property: Police took a report for missing property.
Stolen Vehicle: Officers contacted a local female reference a stolen vehicle report. A suspect was identified and attempts to locate the vehicle are ongoing.
Traffic accident w/ injuries: Officers responded on a traffic accident with injury.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The adult male driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested for drug paraphernalia and traffic violations.
Verbal Dispute IP: Officers were dispatched to a local residence in reference to a verbal dispute.
Nov. 19:
Citizen Assist: A citizen wanted to speak with an officer.
Found Property: A citizen called in property found on Milky Way Lane.
DUI: Officer observed a vehicle speeding and driving without headlamps at night. One adult male was arrested for DUI, open container of alcohol and traffic offenses.
Trespassing: Officers were dispatched to a Mesa Blvd. casino in reference to two intoxicated male subjects who were refusing to leave. The two adult male subjects were later cited and released for trespassing.
