Come “Honor the Ageless” with the Mesquite Local News when it sponsors a Welcome Back Snowbird free lunch on Friday, Oct. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. And you don’t have to be a snowbird to enjoy the 27 or more vendors who will participate. There will be lots of non-profit organizations and a few for-profit businesses available to pass out information, give you a chance to learn about new opportunities or hobbies you can participate in, or just visit with old and new friends.
The Elks Club will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone free of charge. The Mesquite Recreation Center and Senior Center will have some fun activities for young and old kids.
So join us for some good old-fashioned fun at the Mesquite Local News office and parking lot on South Yucca Street next to City Hall.
This is a little early for welcoming snowboards back. How about Oct 15 to Nov 15 when they may be back.
