Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. This week, there were 166 total incidents in the blotter:

Sept. 25:
Suspicious vehicle: Officers conducted an investigative stop on a suspicious male at a park on E. Mesquite Blvd. after park hours. After an extensive investigation, the male was released with a warning.
Person On Foot: Officer’s conducted an investigative stop on an adult female for jaywalking. The female had an active warrant and was arrested for jaywalking.
Agency Assistance: Assist D.E.A in executing a federal arrest warrant on Desert Dr.
Found Property: An officer found a void driver license in a parking lot. The license was placed into safekeeping.

Sept. 26:
Found Property: Officer found an abandoned backpack while patrolling the visitor center. Officer was unable to locate the owner and the backpack was placed in safe keeping.
Theft from vehicle: An officer took a telephone report of a theft from a vehicle parked in a casino parking lot. Information was obtained and report completed.
Controlled Substance Problem: Officer observed an adult male who was known to have an active warrant for his arrest. Upon taking the male into custody officer located controlled substances on his person.
Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officer responded to the Rec. Center on a reported property damage accident. Report was taken.
Civil Matter: An officer took a telephone report concerning a civil issue involving the custody of a female juvenile. Caller was informed of the legal action needed, concerning the issue.

Sept. 27:
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a property damage accident on Clover Ln. with no injuries.
Stolen Vehicle: An officer responded to a Pebble Creek Hts. residence for a report of a stolen vehicle. Information was obtained concerning the stolen vehicle and a report was completed.
Person On Foot: Officer observed a pedestrian cross Old Mill Road without using a crosswalk. Officer issued citation for jaywalking.
Civil Matter: Officer responded to the lobby of the police department regarding a fraud. Officer obtained information and a report was taken.
Welfare Check: An officer responded to the corner of Mesa Blvd. and El Dorado Rd. for a report of a male passed out. Male was transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical treatment.
Disorderly Conduct: Officers responded to the hospital on a report of a disorderly male. Officers spoke with all parties involved and one citation was issued.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: An officer responded to the hospital in reference to a patient who reported an injury due to a fight. The patient refused to give any information concerning the fight and declined to pursue charges.
Theft from vehicle: An officer responded to a Riverside Rd. business in reference to a theft.
Trespassing IP: Officers responded to a West Pioneer business reference a trespassing report. A male subject was read the trespass warning trespassing him from the property.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officers responded to the recreation center reference vandalism to a vehicle on W. Old Mill Rd. A report was taken.
Traffic Stop: A vehicle was pulled over for basic speed. Officer’s investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for traffic violations and DUI.

Sept. 28:
Wanted Person: Officer made contact with a male with an active warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court. The male was arrested and transported to the Mesquite Detention Center without incident.
Civil Matter: An officer took a report of a civil matter.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: An officer responded to a citizen who requested police assistance with a transient who threw a rock striking their vehicle. The offender refused to sign a citation.
Theft: Officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. store for a theft. A report was taken.
Assault W/Gun: Officers responded to a Second South St. apartment complex on a report of a domestic dispute. Witnesses stated a male subject was threatening a female and another bystander with a gun. The male fled the scene but was later located by officers. The male was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm and restricted person in possession of a firearm.
Wanted Person: An officer conducted an investigative stop on a male riding a bicycle late at night. The adult male was arrested for an active warrant.

Sept. 29:
Domestic Violence IP W/ Weapon: Officers responded to a Sandbar St. residence on a report of domestic violence. The officers interviewed both involved parties and the female half was arrested on charges of domestic violence.
Fraud: An officer responded for a report of a money scam out of California. A report was taken.
Domestic Trouble: Officer responded to a Sandbar St. residence for a domestic. Two individuals were arrested for Domestic Battery.
Death Investigation: Officers responded to a Glade Rd. residence on a report of a deceased adult. Detectives and coroner’s office responded and processed the scene.

Sept. 30:
Traffic accident w/ injury: Officers responded to a traffic accident which occurred on private property. One passenger complained of minor injuries and a report was completed.
Theft: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. store on a report of shoplifting. One adult male was cited and released.
Reckless Driver: Officer responded to a report of two reckless drivers. Both drivers were located and cited for traffic offenses based on witness statements.
Civil Matter: An officer responded to a commercial building on Preston Dr. in reference to a property dispute over ownership of property in the building. The building owner and former tenant are involved in a civil issue. Report was taken.

Oct. 1:
Agency Assistance: An officer took a courtesy report of Fraud for Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Report was forwarded to the Las Vegas Fraud Department.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a report of a no injury car accident on W. Pioneer Blvd.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to the parking lot of a W. Mesquite Blvd. business regarding a two vehicle accident. Officer spoke to both drivers and a report was taken.
Recovered Stolen Property: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business regarding possible stolen property.
Wanted Person: Officers observed an adult male at a residence who had multiple active municipal court warrants. The male was contacted and taken into custody.
