Why drive around in a dirty car when you can have it cleaned nice and shiny, and help a group of kids do a good deed for others. On Saturday, Oct. 8, students from Beaver Dam High School Interact Club will be out in force washing cars in front of Dollar Tree on Pioneer Blvd. The car wash will run from 8 a.m. to Noon and the students hope to see you there.

Proceeds the students earn will benefit the Interact Club and help pay expenses for them to attend the annual Interact Conference in Las Vegas, purchase supplies for community and club projects, and cover expenses for them to go to Mexico to build a home for a less fortunate and very deserving family. This is part of Rotary District 5300’s annual SuperBuild International Service Project in the Spring. Rotary Club members from around District 5300 come together one weekend to offer their services by helping families in need of housing.

The work will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, so plan to bring that dirty vehicle by for a good “spit and polish” cleaning.
