WCFA Pets Needing People

Print Friendly

WCFA’s featured pets are McKenna and Sylvester, two active, playful, healthy kittens. McKenna and Sylvester were born in late June. As their photos show, McKenna and Sylvester are beautiful Tuxedo cats with white chest and paws. They are both altered and up to date on vaccines. If you’d like to meet and/or adopt McKenna and/or Sylvester, please complete the online adoption

application at http://www.wecareforanimals.org.

Other Available Dogs:

Belle is a sweet 6 year old grey and white terrier who would love to steal your heart. Belle was found as a stray and WCFA pulled her from The Animal Foundation shelter in Las Vegas to give her a better chance of finding a great home. Belle was groomed on Friday, Sept 23. She will need regular grooming. Belle enjoys cuddles and likes to be close to her person. She is fine with gentle small and big dogs in her foster home. Belle is content sleeping in a dog bed next to your bed, or in your bed if you desire. She loves her daily walks and walks perfectly on leash. Belle has learned the dog door and is house trained.

Belle is spayed, has had a dental, is current on her vaccines and is micro-chipped.

Andy. He is very friendly and gentle and loves to spend time with you. He is fine with the other dogs in his foster home. Andy loves daily walks and does not pull on leash. He greets people and other dogs nicely. We haven’t introduced him to cats so we aren’t sure what his reaction will be. Andy is 8 years old and weighs about 24.5 lb. He is neutered and is current on all of his vaccinations. He has a healthy appetite and is overweight so his food intake needs to be monitored. Andy will also need occasional grooming. Andy will have dental cleaning and will be groomed before his debut at our pet adoption this Saturday.

Demi might be a designer dog called a DoxiePoo, a cross between a Dachshund and a Poodle, although she could also be a mix of the more well-known Bichon Frise or Maltese. She has a long, low Doxie body and an adorable Poodle face, not to mention the most gorgeous long white eyelashes you’ve ever seen! She’s the happiest of little dogs, loves to walk on leash and dash through the grass. She also loves to sit beside you to be petted, and she’ll even let you rub her belly if you wish. Demi loves to meet and greet everyone with her friendly demeanor and wagging tail, including other dogs. At our recent pet adoption event, she was not particularly interested in the cats. Demi is about five years old and weighs about 16 lb. She’s been spayed, had her teeth cleaned, and is current on all her vaccinations. She has a healthy appetite, so her new family may need to help her watch her weight. She will also need regular haircuts.

Patches was born June 25 and is a beautiful calico with grey and orange over white. She is an American Shorthair which is a good all-around, all-American cat characterized by good temperament, a friendly nature, easy trainability and adaptable personality. You can complete an application on line.
