Demi

Demi

WCFA’s featured pet is Demi. Our best guess is that Demi might be a designer dog called a DoxiePoo, a cross between a Dachshund and a Poodle, although she could also be a mix of the more well-known Bichon Frise or Maltese. But just Google and see if you don’t agree with us. She certainly has a long, low Doxie body and an adorable Poodle face, not to mention the most gorgeous long white eyelashes you’ve ever seen!

She’s the happiest of little dogs, loves to walk on leash and dash through the grass. She also loves to sit beside you to be petted, and she’ll even let you rub her belly if you wish. Demi loves to meet and greet everyone with her friendly demeanor and wagging tail, including other dogs. At our recent pet adoption event, she was not particularly interested in the cats.

Demi is about five years old and weighs about 16 lb. She’s been spayed, had her teeth cleaned, and is current on all her vaccinations. She has a healthy appetite, so her new family may need to help her watch her weight. She will also need regular haircuts.

Other Available Dogs:

None at this time, other than Demi.

Available Cats/kittens:

Patches was born June 25 and is a beautiful calico with grey and orange over white. She is an American Shorthair which is a good all-around, all-American cat characterized by good temperament, a friendly nature, easy trainability and adaptable personality. She will be spayed in a few weeks before she can go home with a new family and will also be up to date on shots. You can complete an application on line.

Besides Patches, we have seven more kittens available for adoption; Inky, Misty, Tuck, Sylvester, McKenna and Mr. Cuddles McFluffy. This nice colorful mix of kittens will be available in several weeks but we are accepting applications now.
