Virgin Valley Elementary School teachers were presented with a van load of classroom supplies Wednesday morning, Sept. 7 courtesy of The Public Education Foundation’s Teacher EXCHANGE program. Tim McCubbin, The Public Education Foundation’s Vice President of the Teacher EXCHANGE drove out from Las Vegas to present the supplies at a before-school faculty meeting. After a brief presentation, the teachers were lead outside to a waiting van full of bags, folders, pens, pencils, and much more. McCubbin expressed thanks to Caesars Entertainment and the Caesars Foundation as founding partners of the Teacher EXCHANGE. Caesars provides funding, in-kind materials, and volunteers. The teachers at Virgin Valley Elementary would like to express their thanks to McCubbin and the Teacher EXCHANGE for their generosity and support of education in Mesquite.
