Mesquite, NV — Music played a vital part of early settlers’ lives. From dances and choirs to parades and family get together, music was an integral part of these activities. On Saturday, August 20 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the classroom between the Fine Art gallery and the Museum, the Harmonics String Chamber Group who will explain how stringed instruments make music and demonstrate their instruments. Then, activity-goers will have a chance to make their own stringed instruments.

This is a free family-oriented activity and everyone is invited to come for a noisy, fun-filled morning.
