Falcon Ridge Golf Club has great day of golf

Print Friendly

Starting out the day at 6 a.m. gave us a great day of golf on July 8. It was perfect for scoring low.

John Johnson played an awesome round (78) winning low gross honors and that included a double bogey on the last hole. He also won skins on holes #11 & #16.

Judy Nickle had her best round to win 1st low net. Playing good golf runs in the Nickle family. Clark Mitchell took 2nd low net. Jim Buttler was “on” on some holes, taking 3rd low net and also KPs on holes #2 & #14, then a skin on hole #9.  George Henry won 4th low net.

Lee Stevens had a good day, winning a “double dipper” on hole #8, taking the KP with his tee shot and a skin with his birdie. The last of the skins was won by Esther Strong on hole #17.

After golf the group hosted a going away party for General Manager Brian Wursten. He is leaving Falcon Ridge to take another position and will be missed. The FRGC is looking forward the same relationship with his replacement, Rob Wursten.  Thanks to the staff for making this another fun day for all!
