Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. This week, there were 136 total incidents in the blotter:

June 19:

Controlled Substance Problem: An officer conducted a traffic stop at W. Mesquite Blvd. and Arrow Head Ln. on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The adult driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving without a license. The adult passenger was arrested for possession of an open container of alcohol.
Suspicious Person: Officer responded to Sun City’s Buckboard Tr. on a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival officer observed an adult female in need of medical attention. Medical arrived and transported the female to Mesa View for medical care.
Domestic Trouble: Officer responded to a report of an assault at a W. Mesquite Blvd. business. One adult male was arrested and booked for domestic battery.

June 20:

Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to a Sun Valley Dr. Residence on a disturbance. Four adults were charged with several offenses based on the investigation.
Traffic Stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation. The male driver was arrested for multiple traffic offenses.
Hit & Run: Officers responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. business parking lot on a report of a hit and run.

June 21:

Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Patron came out of Mesa Blvd. casino to find a rear tire on his vehicle was slashed. The RP believes it was an ex-girlfriend who did it.
Verbal Dispute IP: Officers responded to a verbal dispute. One adult male was arrested for an active warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officer observed a vehicle involved in a property damage incident parked on the side of an I-15. Officer investigated the incident and issued the driver four citations for leaving the scene of an accident.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Detectives received information regarding a bi-polar adult male on N. Grapevine R. that may have access to various weapons.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to the area of Sandhill Boulevard on a two car accident. Officer spoke to both drivers and a report was taken.
Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a two vehicle accident on Falls Cir. with no injuries. An accident report was completed.
Agency Assistance: Detectives were requested by North Las Vegas Detectives for a courtesy interview of a possible witness in a theft that happened on Friday 06-17-16.
Fraud: Officer responded to a Pinnacle Ct. business regarding fraudulent checks. Officer obtained information and the case will be forwarded to detectives.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a property damage traffic accident on E. Pioneer and Mesa Blvd.
Keep The Peace: Police stood by while a male subject removed property from a former residence on N. Grapevine Rd.
Theft: Employee was found stealing from residents at nursing home on W. Pioneer Blvd. Employee was cited for petit larceny and suspended pending conclusion of internal investigation.
Battery on Person: Officers responded to a report of a battery in progress on Poppy Ln. One adult male was arrested for simple battery and obstructing a police officer.

June 22:

Suspicious Person/Circumstance: An Officer responded to Sandbar St. on a suspicious telephone call demanding money.
Theft: Officer responded to a report of a theft at a Mesa Blvd. residence. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.
Fraud: An officer took a report regarding identity theft at the police department.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Officers made contact with two female subjects who were involved in an argument on Mesquite Hts. Blvd. Both females were arrested, one for battery and the other for a warrant.

June 23:

Wanted person:  An officer responded to Clark County Detention Center in reference to an adult male inmate who had a Mesquite Municipal Court bench warrant.
Theft: A citizen reported his bicycle stolen. Another bicycle was left on scene.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded for a report of a traffic accident. Negative injuries; officer completed report.
Stolen Vehicle: Officers responded to a N. Grapevine Rd. residence for a report of a stolen vehicle. A report was taken.
Theft: An officer responded to W. Pioneer Blvd. store reference a report of petit larceny. A report was taken.
Theft: An officer responded to the Recreation Center reference a possible theft. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

June 24:

Battery on Person: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. hotel for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned that a battery occurred and property was damaged. One male subject was issued a citation for battery and destruction of property.
Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to a Valley View Dr. residence reference a domestic battery. After an investigation one adult female was arrested.
Abuse/Neglect: An officer responded on a report of child neglect on Honeysuckle Ct.; an investigation was initiated.
Battery on Person: Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress on Emmarene St. After investigation all three subjects involved in the incident were issued a citation for battery and released with a court date.
Trespassing: Officers responded to an Emmarene St. residence for a trespass situation. Officers stood by while the trespass warning was read.
Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to a River’s Bend Dr. residence reference a domestic battery incident. The investigation resulted in one adult male being arrested for domestic battery, obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a driver on W. Mesquite Blvd. and Woodbury Ln. with a known revoked driver’s license. Upon contacting the occupants the officer observed an open container of alcohol. The driver was cited for driving on a revoked license and the passenger was cited for an open container of alcohol.
Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer was dispatched to a Falcon Ridge Pkwy address in reference to a single vehicle traffic accident.
Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a two vehicle non-injury traffic accident at the Mesquite Boulevard roundabout.
Domestic Trouble: Officers responded to a First South St. parking lot for a report of a domestic dispute. The male offender fled the area prior to officer’s arrival. The female victim sustained minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Officers responded to a suspicious situation at the Bluff Apartments concerning a recent auto theft. The investigation is ongoing.

June 25:

Hit & Run: Officer responded to a hit and run accident in a N. Sandhill Blvd. business parking lot.
Trespassing IP: Officer responded to a Mesa Blvd. casino reference a trespass violator. Officer located and identified the individual involved. The suspect was issued a citation and released with a court date.
