James McCall
James was born in El Paso, TX to Robert and Elise McCall. He is survived by wife Barbara and four children: Bonnie, Bill, John and Jim. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren who reside in Barstow, CA; three sisters: Shellie Dahmen and family of Mesquite, NV; Jennieann Heischmidt (Mark) and Sarah Gentry and family of St. Elmo, IL.
James loved working, family and friends. He was a Barstow, CA postal employee for 33 years as well as an employee of Leonard Purdy at the Barstow Brand and Tire Shop for 27 years.
James retired and moved to Mesquite, NV in 2004. He went to work for Black/Mesquite Gaming driving a shuttle at the golf course for 12 years. Working was his hobby and he enjoyed every day.
A celebration of life will be held at the Hacienda Club House 300 Rodeo Ln. on June 8 from 2-5 p.m.
Jim loved his dogs Missy and Rita and would prefer donations to We Care for Animals in lieu of flowers.
He will be missed by so many friends and family.
