Available Dogs:

Brady has been with us for a while and has really blossomed into a perfect companion.  He is a wonderful 4 year old Dachshund-Chihuahua blend.  Brady enjoys being with people and loves to cuddle.  He is great with other friendly dogs.  Brady is house-trained to a dog door.  Brady loves daily walks and he wants a home where he can enjoy his daily exercise. He has come a long way in foster care and has even lost a couple of pounds, looking in fine shape.

Dodger is an energetic and playful little dog.  He loves walks and does well on leash.  He is good with other dogs.  Dodger is about 3 ½ years old and is a Bichon Shih Tzu blend. He is house trained to a dog door.  Dodger needs to be with an active family that will help direct his energy in positive ways.  He will need regular grooming.

Pet Events:  there will be a super cat and dog adoption at petSmart in St. George on May 13-14.  Adoptable animals from various shelters and rescues will be there.  Additional details will be posted on our website at wecareforanimals.org. Our next pet adoption in Mesquite will be May 28th from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Suite 1, at 150 North Yucca St. If you have an interest in our adoptable pets please go to wecareforanimals.org to complete an application online. If you want to see one of our available animals before or after our pet adoption, please contact us and we will arrange a meet and greet at everyone’s convenience.

WCFA offers a wonderful low-cost/free opportunity to spay/neuter your pets to prevent accidental litters and keep your pet happy and healthy.  Our target areas are Mesquite, Bunkerville and the Arizona Strip.  Spay/Neuter Assistance Applications are available at Mesquite Veterinary Clinic located at 371 Riverside Road and Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital at 660 Hardy Way.  You may also call WCFA at 702-346-3326 to leave a message or visit wecareforanimals.org to contact us by email.  Half of all litters born in the U.S. are accidents that overburden shelters and rescues.

Foster Pet Parents needed:  WCFA depends on reliable pet fosters to save homeless cats and dogs.  The number of homeless pets that WCFA can foster is determined by its available foster homes.  Fostering provides a temporary safe and loving home until adoption.   Please go to wecareforanimals.org to complete our foster application.
