Obituary: Robert Rammage

Robert Keith Rammage, 77, of Ivins, Utah, passed away suddenly on April 25, 2016. He was born December 26, 1938 in Kearney, Neb. To Lloyd William and Laura Della (Saunders) Rammage. He married Arlene Rosetta Swaigsne on Feb. 9, 1957 in Seattle, Wash. He totally loved, adored and missed his loving wife. She died Aug. 25, 2011.

Robert loved bowling and taking pictures for the bowling leagues, doing woodwork, making crafts, carving flowers from fruits and vegetables and playing cards. He also enjoyed visiting David and Gayle Holland, his brother and sister-in-law in his home state of Washington.

He was the maintenance manager for ELDEC, an electronics firm in Lynnwood, Wash. For over 30 years.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Brian (Lisa) Rammage of Mesquite and Janice (Greg) Carter of Elsinore, Utah; his loving dog, Mocha; a brother, Eugene Rammage; his grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie, Shawna, Travis and Jason; and his great-grandchildren, Daeyen, Wendy, Trevor and Madison.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Arlene.

  1. Bob Rammage was a fine man, I live next door to the Lloyde gene Rammage woodworking shop, the brothers had a falling out 15 years ago, and never spoke again, Bob walked away to Utah, In my opinion the wrong Ramage died, God bless you Bob the woodshop still makes noise.
