Mesquite, NV – On Friday, May 13, Mesquite Police Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Domino’s Pizza located at 360 N. Sandhill Boulevard.

At approximately 7:09 p.m., a suspect walked up to the front counter, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. After the employee at the front counter gave the suspect money, the suspect fled the area on foot. After the suspect left, the store employee was able to dial 911. Officers quickly arrived on scene and began an investigation at the scene, while also searching the area for the suspect.

The Mesquite Police Department is also seeking assistance from the community in identifying the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male with reddish hair and reddish facial hair. He is approximately 5’ 8″ and at the time of the robbery, was wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with a white shirt underneath. He had in his possession a black handgun and left the store with about $60.00 in cash from the front register.

Mesquite Detectives have been following leads in this case, including another armed robbery at a Domino’s pizza in Las Vegas which occurred the same day. Detectives are also attempting to locate a vehicle of interest which may have been involved in the robbery. The vehicle is described as a small red vehicle with damage to the front hood and the front headlamp on the driver’s side.
