April 17:
Theft from Vehicle: Report taken for stolen items of a vehicle on Bannock St. R/p requested this be a matter of record.
Wanted Person:  Male adult brought to the jail by Bail Bond Enforcement Agents taken into custody on Mesquite Municipal Court warrant.
Theft from Vehicle: Officers responded to an apartment complex on Riverside Dr. for a report of a theft from a vehicle.
Verbal Dispute IP: Officer responded to the Mesquite Detention Center reference a verbal dispute.
A report was taken.

April 18:
Lost Property:  Officer responded to a Plateau Rd. residence and took a report of missing medication, believed to have been taken by a family member.
Court Order:  Officers responded to a complaint of a child custody dispute.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism:  Officer responded to a Riverside Rd. storage unit on a report of damaged property.
Mental Person:  An Officer responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence to assist with a subject who has mental health issues and was acting out and being violent. Officers were able to assist.
Stolen Vehicle:  An Officer responded to the Police Department and took a report of a stolen ATV
and ATV trailer.  A report was completed and the vehicles were entered as stolen.
Threatening:  Officer responded to a Riverside Rd. residence regarding abuse and threatening comments.
Officer spoke to all parties involved and a report was taken as a matter of record.
Lost Property:  Officer responded to the front lobby of the police department regarding a lost wallet. Officer obtained all information and a report was taken.
Indecent Exposure:  Officer responded to a Riverside Rd. apartment complex reference an indecent exposure call. Upon arrival officer spoke with several individuals.  The investigation is ongoing.
Traffic Stop:  Officer conducted a traffic stop for cell phone violation on N. Sandhill and E. Old Mill Dr. The driver was cited for cell phone and unlicensed driver. The driver has a history for failure to appear and was taken into custody for the aforementioned charges.
April 19:
Theft:  Officer responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. car wash regarding theft in progress. A property representative read the subject the trespass warning and no charges were filed.
Domestic Violence IP:  Officers responded to a Riverside Rd. apartment complex on a report of a domestic dispute. One adult male was arrested.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance:  An Officer took a telephone report of a missing roadside Memorial Marker.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance:  Officer observed an unattended vehicle on Mesa Blvd with the rear door open and the engine running.  Upon approach the officer observed three small children in car seats and no adult in sight.  A report was generated and forwarded to CPS.
Theft:  An officer took a telephone report of a stolen yard decoration on Chaparral Dr.  Information was received and report completed.
Lost Property:  Officers responded to a parking lot at an apartment complex on Moss Dr. where a license plate was reported missing from a vehicle.
Stolen Vehicle:  Officers responded to the police station to take a report of a stolen ATV.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance:  Officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in a Bobcat Run neighborhood.
Theft:  An unknown male walked into a W. Pioneer Blvd. retail store and stole a display computer.
Officers were given a description of the suspect through surveillance video. Investigation is ongoing.
Animal Noise: Officer responded to an animal noise complaint on Hawk St.  The owner of the animal was issued a citation for animal noise.
April 20:
Traffic Stop:  Officer stopped and cited an unlicensed juvenile driver on Valley View Dr., then cited the parent for allowing the juvenile to drive.
Found Property:  Officer recovered a found bicycle on W. Mesquite Blvd and Grapevine Rd. and placed it in the bicycle impound.
Hit and Run:  Officer responded to a report of hit and run on Moss Dr. that occurred sometime during the night. No suspect vehicle information, incident number given for insurance purposes.
Traffic accident W/O injury:  An officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino parking lot for a traffic accident. An information report was completed.
Fraud:  An officer responded to the police department reference a fraud report. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Theft:  Officer responded to a W Mesquite Blvd. hardware store for a report of a theft. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.
Theft:  Officers responded to a W Pioneer Blvd. business reference a theft report. The investigation is ongoing.
Disorderly Conduct:  Officers responded to an E Pioneer Blvd. casino reference an intoxicated male disturbing the peace of patrons.  After an investigation, the male was trespassed from the casino property and arrested for breach of peace.
Animal Bite:  Officers responded to Topaz Ln. on a report of an animal problem.  Upon arrival officers learned an unleased dog had attempted to bite another leashed dog.
Driving Under the Influence:   Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. After an investigation, one adult male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

April 21:
Juvenile Problem:  Mesquite Officer responded to a Valley View Dr. school reference a juvenile problem.
Phone Harassment:  An officer responded to the police department lobby reference a report of harassment.
Traffic accident W/O injury:  Police responded to a non-injury traffic accident. A report was taken and one adult male was issued a citation.
Wanted Person:  Detectives located an adult male with an active Mesquite Municipal Court warrant; the male was arrested on the warrant and transported to jail.
Controlled Substance Problem:  An officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd casino for an identification check on two males.  Both males were identified, and one had an active Mesquite Municipal Court warrant.  The male was taken into custody for the warrant and new drug related charges.

April 22:
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officer responded to a report of a vehicle hit and run in a parking lot. No suspect vehicle information available. Incident number was given for insurance purposes.
Phone Harassment:  An officer took a report for harassing emails.
Stolen Vehicle:  Citizen reported unlawful use of his motor vehicle and check fraud from a friend.
Stolen Vehicle:  Officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from an E. Pioneer Blvd casino parking lot.  Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.
Domestic Violence IP:  Officers responded to an E. Mesquite Blvd. hotel reference a physical fight between an adult male and female.  After an investigation, the adult female was arrested and charged with domestic battery and obstruction.
Traffic accident W/O injury:  Officer responded to a parking lot reference an accident between two vehicles on N. Sandhill Blvd.  An information report was completed.
Animal Bite:  An officer responded to the hospital reference a dog bite.  A report was taken.
Traffic Stop:  Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on E. Pioneer Blvd. suspected of being involved in recent theft incidents. Upon investigation, the adult male driver was arrested for several traffic violations, ITS drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was also arrested for the theft incident. The adult female passenger was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and open container of alcohol.

April 23:
Hit & Run:  Police took a report for a private property hit and run accident on N. Sandhill Blvd.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism:  An officer took a report of property damage on Sun Valley Dr.
Battery on Person: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business reference a battery report. The complainant reported being involved in a battery and requested an information report be completed.
Lost Property:  Police took a report for a missing IPad on Hillside Dr.
Controlled Substance Problem: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. casino reference a found property incident, regarding drug paraphernalia. Contact was made with the property owner who was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Animal Noise:  Officer responded to a call on Muscat Dr. about a barking dog. No one appeared to be home and the dog was still barking.
Stolen Vehicle:  Officer responded to a storage facility on Riverside Dr. reference a stolen side-by-side. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Domestic Violence IP:  Officers responded to a local residence, in reference to a domestic in progress.
After an investigation, it was determined that it had only been a verbal argument.  One adult male was cited and released for furnishing alcohol to minors.  One juvenile male was cited and released for minor in consumption of alcohol.  Two adult females on Desert Dr. were cited and released for adult/minor in consumption of alcohol.
Driving under the influence:   An officer conducted a traffic stop on Pioneer Blvd. and Falcon Ridge Pkwy, stopping the driver for a moving violation.  The adult male driver had been drinking alcohol and failed field sobriety test; he was arrested for DUI.  The male passenger was arrested for open container.
Trespassing:  Officers responded to a casino reference a trespass violator. An adult male was issued a citation for trespassing.
