According to a press release from the City of Mesquite, ” On May 5, 2016 (Thursday) at 6 P.M. at City Hall, in the City Council Chambers, The Virgin Valley Historical Society will be holding a Founder’s Forum, discussion of “Back to the Future.” The Founder’s Forum is hosted by The Virgin Valley Historical Society as an opportunity to find out about the vibrant and interesting history of the area and the possible future.

The forum will be presented and led by long-time Mesquite resident Thelma Davis, who has lived in the area for many years. According to an article in Mesquite Magazine, Davis was co-owner of Davis Construction Development which anchored in Mesquite in 1976 and other sources say that they also operated the Valley Inn Motel as well as two other businesses.

Council chambers is located in the upstairs portion of Mesquite City Hall, 10 E. Mesquite Blvd. The presentation is scheduled to last about an hour.
