Clark-County-Fair-218x300It’s Fair Time again and the theme for this year’s Clark County Fair is “A Fair To Remember.”
The Clark County Fair will open Wednesday, April 6 from 2 to 11 p.m., Thursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ticket prices for fair admission alone are General Admission (ages 13-59) $10, Senior Admission (ages 60+) $8 and Child Admission (ages 5-12) $8. Children under five are free.
As always, organizers are promising fairgoers an unforgettable fun time with exhibits, carnival rides, games and of course, plenty of entertainment. Browns Amusements, Inc. from Mesa, AZ will be bringing all of their rides and attractions.
Each day will also feature competition for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) which will feature local favorite Jory Levy, Nels Bowen and Randon Adams all of Logandale. They are just three of an estimated 500 competitors vying for over $250,000 in prize money as part of the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour. While there are afternoon competitions, only the top 12 contestants will return for the evening events and will be joined by some of the world’s Rough Stock Riders and Lady WPRA Barrel Racers.
The biggest attraction this year for entertainment is sure to be A Thousand Horses in concert Friday night at 9:30 p.m. The country-rock band has made a lot of great strides over the past year with hits such as “Smoke” and “Drunk Dial.” Concert tickets will be available for $33 and include Fair Admission.
