The Mesquite Toes are rehearsing day and night for their 2016 Spring Dance Spectacular. They’re ready to take you on a journey from Hollywood to Broadway with stops in Las Vegas and New Orleans along the way.

Director Vickie Eckman said they’ve put 28 numbers in the show, 18 of which are brand new and three older dances have been re-vamped with new costumes and steps.  “All together we’ve got over 200 dances in our repertoire”, said Eckman. “We add a bit more each year and revamp older ones so we’ve always got a brand new show.”

Tickets for the Toes Dance Spectacular are on sale now at Danielle’s Chocolates, Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery, Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, 2Da9z Clothing Boutique and the MCT Box Office one hour before show times.

Shows are scheduled for Thursday, April 14 at 1 p.m. as well as Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at the Mesquite Community Theatre, 150 N. Yucca St. Tickets for the Thursday Matinee are $10 each. Tickets for the evening performances are $12 each.

So excited to see this year’s show as due to illness in family we missed last year. We have only lived here a little over a year & have enjoyed all the art, plays etc. I have heard great reviews about “The Mesquite Toes” & looking forward to seeing it!
