January is the start of the New Year and many residents are starting it in a new home. Local Mesquite real estate agents reported 50 residential properties and one single family lot sold during this time.
An additional 49 properties and 3 single family lots went into pending status for closure at a later date. Although this information does include some new home sales, it does not include all new home or private (for sale by owner) home sales.
Real estate professionals reported that 29 single family homes closed/sold during January 2016. The lowest priced home, a 3 bedroom/1.75 bath, 1,217 SF home in the Trailside neighborhood sold for $170,000; the highest priced homes, a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, 3,116 SF home in Sun City sold for $444,600. A single family, .28 acre lot, in the Bella Horizon subdivision sold for $155,000.
During this same time, 10 condominiums and 11 townhomes sold. The lowest price condominium sold was a 1 bedroom/ 1 bath, 445 SF Smokey Lane Condo; the highest prices condominium was a 2 bedroom/2 bath 994 SF condominium located in the Enchantment community. The lowest priced townhome residence, a 1,251 SF, 2 bedroom/2 bath home in Mesquite Mesa subdivision sold for $123,000; the highest priced townhome residence, a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 1,697 SF home in the Ventana neighborhood sold for $239,000.
