New Golf Club Forming

Geno Withelder, founder and former president of the Falcon Ridge Golf Club, has announced the formation of a new golf organization called GGG.

The GGG is an organization of golfers united for the enjoyment of the game of golf. They will also be members of the Southern Nevada Golf Association.

According to their press release, their purpose will be to promote the game of golf, schedule and arrange golf events for their members and ensure that all the benefits of the SNGA will be passed on to them.

Membership fees will be $40 for the first year with reduced rates for subsequent years.

GGG will play the CasaBlanca, Palms and Canyons Golf Courses on a rotating basis.

Negotiations are reportedly under way for play at Wolf Creek, Conestoga and Coyote Springs courses on a quarterly basis.

GGG will be holding its first event Saturday, Feb. 13, at the CasaBlanca Golf Course with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The Palms Golf Course will be the site of their second outing on Feb. 20 at 8 a.m.

In order to obtain the best available rates at the CasaBlanca and Palms courses, it’s recommended that a Mesquite Gaming pass be obtained, which is priced at $65 annually with greatly reduced greens fees.

For more information on the membership details, contact Withelder at 702-379-1931 or email wgenow@gmail.com.

“Thanks to all members of the Falcon Ridge Golf Club for 13 years of success,” Withelder added.
