Mesquite, NV – On December 16, at approximately 5:18 P.M. the Mesquite Police Department responded to a head-on collision which had occurred at the intersection of Hillside Drive and North Sandhill Blvd. The accident involved two vehicles, the first vehicle had four occupants, a 2014 Red Ford F150 and the second vehicle had one occupant, a Maroon 2013 GMC pickup truck.  Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection, requiring officers to shut down the northbound lanes of Sandhill Blvd and the westbound lanes Hillside Dr.  Officers immediately made the scene safe for responding medical and fire personnel.  Both drivers and two of the passengers were transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The appropriate traffic violation charges will be issued once the traffic accident investigation is completed.

 

The vehicle with four occupants was a 2014 Red Ford F150.  The vehicle with one occupant was a Maroon 2013 GMC pickup truck.
