The annual MMGA club championship was held at the Palms and Falcon Ridge golf courses last weekend. With last year’s champion not playing this year it was no surprise that the winner was Andrew Yeh. From the white tees Yeh had four birdies at the Palms for a two under par 70 and then matched that 70 the next day with six birdies.
Congratulations Andrew for two superb rounds of golf. Aaron Kennard, the sheriff from Salt Lake, shot 79 on Saturday and followed that up with an 82 from the forward tees to win the overall club low net champion with a net score of 126 beating Rick Scholl, the other sheriff from California by three shots. Bubba Petrick won the Most Improved Player for 2015 beating out Andrew Yeh and Terry Spriggs. The other flight placements are listed below.
