Editor’s note: The following was taken from the pages of the Mesquite Police Department blotter for Nov. 1-7, 2015.

Nov. 1:

Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to a report of a domestic situation on East Pioneer Boulevard. Only one of the involved parties was located. A report was taken and is being investigated.

Theft From Vehicle: Officers responded to a theft from a vehicle where an iPhone and a Garmin GPS were stolen from unsecured vehicles on W Pioneer Blvd. Report was taken and investigation is ongoing.

Theft: Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle on Hillside Dr. Report was taken and the bicycle was entered as stolen. Police are attempting to locate the bicycle.

Domestic Trouble: Officers responded to a domestic dispute on N Grapevine Rd. Officers were unable to contact anybody in the apartment and did not observe or hear any signs of a dispute.

Domestic Trouble: Officers were dispatched to a Desert Dr residence reference a domestic dispute. The investigation concluded with one male subject arrested for two counts of battery domestic violence and one count of assault.

Nov. 2:

Found Property: A citizen found some miscellaneous property items and turned them in to the Police. The items were previously reported stolen and returned to owners.

Abandoned Vehicle: Police impounded a motorcycle which had been abandoned at the I-15 SB 122 Off-Ramp for several days.

Lost Property: A lost wallet was reported; it was not located at the time of this report.

Domestic Violence IP: Police responded to a suspicious incident at the hospital. One adult male was

arrested for domestic battery and booked into the Mesquite Detention Center.

Controlled Substance Problem: Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on W Mesquite Blvd. Officers observed evidence of criminal activity and investigated further.  Their investigation led to a search warrant being executed on a local hotel room and three adult males were arrested on felony drug charges.

Nov. 3:

Theft: Police responded to a shoplifting report at a W Pioneer Blvd business. One adult female was arrested for petit larceny and obstructing an officer and booked into the Mesquite Detention Center.

Nov. 4:

Traffic Stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an observed traffic offense on southbound I-15. After further investigation two subjects were taken into custody for traffic and narcotic offenses.

Theft: Police responded to a W Pioneer Blvd store reference a report of theft from a patron. Information about the alleged theft was received, and an officer’s report was completed.

Identification Check: Officers responded to a E Pioneer Blvd casino and arrested a male for minor gambling and minor in consumption of alcohol.

Agency Assistance: Officers responded to a Desert Rose Way residence to assist the Mesquite Fire Department with an elderly female who had stopped breathing.  Despite resuscitation efforts, the elderly female died.

Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to a Desert Willow Ln residence reference possible domestic violence between a male and female. After an investigation both subjects were arrested for first offense domestic violence.

Nov. 5:

Burglary: Police responded to an E Mesquite Blvd city park reference a report of attempted burglary of a concession stand. Evidence was collected, and the investigation is ongoing.

Citizen Assist: Officers received a report of a stolen vehicle from a parking lot. The vehicle was listed as stolen, and an officer’s report was completed.

Agency Assistance: Assisted Clark County CPS, take two juveniles into CPS custody on E Pioneer Blvd.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers were dispatched to a reported accident involving one vehicle and no reported injuries on W First North St.

Nov. 6:

Theft: Police responded to an E Pioneer Blvd hotel reference theft of property. A former hotel guest stole several decorations and other items from a room. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Theft: Mesquite Officer responded to a W Pioneer Blvd business reference property theft. Information and evidence was collected in order to conduct an investigation.

Found Property: Police responded to a Mesa Blvd apartment complex reference lost property. The owner of the property is unknown, and the items were placed into evidence for safekeeping until the owner can be identified.

Search Warrant: The Mesquite Police Department SWAT Team executed a knock and announce search

warrant of a Riverside Road apartment.

Nov. 7:

Lost Property: Police responded to a report of a lost wallet on W Pioneer Blvd. The lost property was documented, and an officer’s report was completed.

Fighting IP: Mesquite Officers responded to a N Grapevine Rd apartment complex reference a fight in progress. Two adult males were arrested and booked into Mesquite Justice Facility.

Theft: Officers were dispatched to a W Pioneer Blvd business, in reference to a theft.  An adult male subject was located and later arrested for destruction of property and obstructing a public officer.
