Kathleen (Kitty) Snow Kilfoyle Grimes, of Desert Springs, Arizona, returned to her Heavenly Father due to complications after surgery on October 23, 2015.
Kitty was born June 2, 1946 in Brigham City, Utah to Nate and Bette (Snow) Kilfoyle. She married William (Bill) Grimes on July 10, 1964 in Kaysville, Utah. On July 10, 1982 they were sealed in the Ogden temple. She was a lunch lady for eight years, groomed dogs for thirty years, and her current job was a cashier at Walmart in Mesquite, Nevada.
Kitty was an avid artist working all types of media. She enjoyed family time, she would shop all year for Christmas for all her kids, grandkids great-grandkids and other family members. She was active in the LDS church. She loved road trips and she thoroughly enjoyed the Alaskan cruise that she and Bill took in celebration of their 50th anniversary.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years; her sons, Todd (Wendy), Troy, Trent and Cheryl Grimes; her sister Gerri (Richard) Potter; 13 grandkids; and 11 great-grandkids.
Viewing services will be held at the Littlefield Chapel in Littlefield, Arizona on October 29, 2015, from 6-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be October 30, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at 3260 E. Old Highway 91 Littlefield, Arizona. Condolences may be shared at www.mcmillanmortuary.com.
I am shocked and saddened to hear about this! My condolences to Bill and all. Kitty was very friendly to all. She always said hi when I saw her in Walmart and always supported the school and her grandkids at their sporting games.
She will be missed. The last couple of weeks was hard to see her the way I did and I hated seeing her that way cuz I would remember her always saying hello and asking how I was with a big smile from ear to ear and always telling me about her grandkids Bracken and Kelsen supporting them all the time at their games. Bill I am sorry for your loss just know that all of us at IHC are with you and your family in our thoughts and prayers….
