FIRE LOG:

10/20/15

  • E-11, E-31, R-11, MPD responded to a call to the Fire Station reporting a fire in a garage on Shade Tree Lane. Arrived with no visible fire, but a smell of smoke in the area.  PR advises he saw flames through the window of the garage.  Quickly determined that the resident next door was using a charcoal grill that was an appropriate distance from the structure, and nothing else was burning in the area.  Thermal imaging confirmed no heat in the structure, and the smell was only outside.

10/22/15

  • E-11, R-11, MPD responded to a restaurant on W. Mesquite Blvd for a general fire alarm. Arrived to find a cleaning crew had just finished steam cleaning the grill hoods and that had set off the alarm.  No other problem found and alarm reset.

10/24/15

  • E-11 responded to mm 105 on I-15 to assist Clark County Fire with a reported Fuel Tanker Burning.
  • E-11, R-31 Responded to I-15 mm 107 during the Fuel Tanker Fire to a reported single vehicle rollover. Found single vehicle on its roof with the lone occupant out of the vehicle.  R-31 transported 1 patient to Mesa View for evaluation of his injuries.
