The second set was a mirror image of the first as the Pirates jumped out to a 4-1 advantage. Fiso had 13 service points during the rally and finished the Pirates with a huge kill at match point and a 24-14 Bulldog victory. At this point of the match most fans felt it would be an easy Bulldog victory, but not the Pirate players as they roared back to take the next two sets handily.

The Lady Dawgs showed the fans why they are still in first place in 1-A Sunrise League play defeating the Pirates 15-10 for the 3-2 win. Bernice Fiso led the Dawgs with 16 kills, 5 aces and 19 digs. Kaydee Bingham added 11 kills and Emma Barnum had an all-around good game with 9 kills, 18 digs and three huge blocks. Setter Janella Fiso set her teammates up with 41 assists.
