David and Denene Torgenson moved to Mesquite from Salinas, Utah. While visiting once before, they had some problems with their RV, but were unable to get what they needed without driving to St. George.

And so a vision was born, and they decided to open their store and add a twist: the Dutch Oven.

“My father was the one who invented the [Camp Chef] Dutch Oven, so we decided to bring that into the area and show people how to use it with their RV,” said Denene.

At this time, they do not have items that are typically for trailers, motorhomes or bumper posts, but they do have a variety of things for RVs. If they don’t have something that a customer needs in the store, they have catalogue ordering available. If the shipment is sent to the store, there will be no shipping charge.

In the future, DDT RV Supplies will be hosting Dutch Oven Demos, starting on Nov. 12 from 3-5 p.m. Afterwards, they will have a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Al Litman and the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce at 5:15 p.m.
