Kahlert stays unbeaten for boys

The Virgin Valley High School tennis boy tennis team defeated Chaparral High School Friday afternoon 13-5. German exchange student Simon Kahlert won three sets to stay undefeated as a Bulldog. The win gave the Dawgs a 2-1 record in Sunrise League play and 2-2 overall for the season. The Bulldogs travel to face El Dorado on Thursday September 17 before returning to league play against Sunrise Mountain in Mesquite on Monday September 21.

 

Faught wins three sets to tie Chaparral 9-9

The Lady Dawgs went to a tie breaker Friday against Chaparral but again tied to end the match 9-9. Leading the Dawgs was number one seed Natilyn Faught who won all three of her sets. The Dawgs will travel to El Dorado Thursday September 17 before hosting Sunrise Mountain on the 21st.
