September 20, 1891: Lucius Peck was the last remaining Mesquite resident of the first time Mesquite was settled.

September 1929: Riverside bridge damaged after flooding.

September 22, 1970: Jimmie Hughes passes away during the construction of the Virgin River Gorge pass.

September 15, 1990: Virgin River Casino Grand Opening. The grand opening ran Sept 15th through Oct 15th.
