Thank you, Public Works

To the Editor:

I recently went into the Mesquite Department of Public Works to request pedestrian crossing signs at the corner of Falcon Ridge Parkway and Flat Top Mesa.   Out of state drivers headed to the golf course seemed to forget they are no longer on I-15.  When you enter the marked crossing areas you were taking your life in your hands when you walked.  This week the Mesquite Department of Public Works installed the pedestrian crossing signs both ways on Falcon Ridge.  I would like to thank them for their prompt attention to my request and the great job they did marking this crossing.
