Tickets are still available for the Mesquite Madness Charity Dinner & Auction, to be held this Saturday, Sep. 26, at the CasaBlanca Resort. For $35 per person, or $325 for a table of 10, you can enjoy an exciting evening with good food and a great auction, and know that your presence will go far to help the Exchange Club of Mesquite continue to support so many community services, such as the prevention of child abuse.

To get your tickets, please call 702-346-6633. It’s this Saturday, so don’t put it off!

Bidders at Mesquite Madness will have a wide range of excellent auction items to choose from. There are lots of golf packages – LOTS of golf packages to bid on. How about dinners from one side of Mesquite to the other, a hot air balloon ride, a backyard smoker, original artworks, a solid oak hall tree, or a folding professional-size ping pong table? We’ve got them all.

Perhaps you’d like a night’s stay with meals at the luxurious Cowboy’s Dream Bed & Breakfast in Alamo, or 3 nights in Elko for January’s Cowboy Poetry Gathering, including performance tickets. We’ve got those too. We have jewelry, crafts, and collectibles – NASCAR collectibles too.

One donor has presented a chance for you to take home an antique Grandfather Clock, made in Wales in about 1850. It even has a moving moon dial! It’s yours if you are the winning bidder.

Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national project, the prevention of child abuse. Chartered by the National Exchange Club, our local club is made up of about 20 of your neighbors who meet for a lunch meeting every Tuesday at the Veterans Center.

Through the Exchange Club of Mesquite Foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity which receives much of its funding from the Mesquite Madness Charity Dinner & Auction, we provide financial assistance to several local charities in our communities such as: The Back to School Backpack project in Mesquite and Bunkerville, the Beaver Dam and Littlefield Backpack Project, Any Soldiers Christmas, Mesquite Reads, Angel Tree, Sub For Santa, and local Girl Scout and Boy Scout Troops.

The Exchange Club of Mesquite created and oversees the award-winning Give Me Liberty program for 5th graders at our local elementary schools, we present One Thousand Flags Over Mesquite, the Proudly We Hail award, ACE (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) scholarships, and the Remember 9/11 Ceremony in front of City Hall.

None of this would be possible without your support. Buy your tickets and enjoy Mesquite Madness this Saturday, and maybe take home that treasure you have always wanted. Call 702-346-6633 today for more information or tickets.
