VVHS Boys Soccer defeats Mojave Rattlers at home

Game play came down to the wire for the Dawgs Monday, August 31, as they defeated the Mojave Rattlers 3-2, thanks to Moises Medina’s score within the final 15 minutes. Pedro Osuna-Gomez and Ulises Flores each had goals earlier in the game as well.

They will play tonight, Sept. 3 against Palo Verde at home beginning at 5 p.m. and at home on Tuesday, Sept. 8 versus Faith Lutheran at 4:30 p.m.

Bulldogs fall to Cedar in opening game

The Bulldogs only had a single score in last Friday’s, August 28, football game against Cedar (Utah) in the fourth quarter by Tony Urias, who scored on a 10-yard quarterback keeper, preventing a shutout. Cedar, who led 27-0 at halftime, finished the game and the Bulldogs for a final score of 41-7.

The Bulldogs will play at home tomorrow, Sept. 4 against Western at 7 p.m.

Beaver Dam High School Changes Admission to Games

Starting tomorrow, September 4, 2015, anyone wanting to attend any of the football or volleyball games at Beaver Dam High School will have to purchase a ticket, according to a press release.

Cost for adults will be $4, Students without an activity card $2 and no cost to those students who do have their activity card.

Family passes will be available by season or year round. Fall Sports: $25; Winter Sports: $35; and Year Long: $50, good for both sports seasons.
