Of course no Rat Rod is ever fully complete without the beer-keg-gas-tank, a shot gun, a rattle snake and a scary guy who’s got your back and appears to be well equipped and ready for action. It’s an all-American set up as evidenced by the flag on Lyle Huff’s 1949 version. It sure was a winner according to the Eureka employees who voted on their top 25 favorites at the Eureka Casino’s 3rd annual Rod Run, sponsored by the Boulder City Cruisin Association, which was held Labor Day weekend 2015.

Speaking of views, this lady declined to give her name or submit to an interview but she did hang around for the duration of the 3rd annual Eureka Rod Run, sponsored by the Boulder City Cruisin Association, and seemed to be keeping an eye on Joe Gibbs 1923 Ford Model T parked right next to her. As a matter of fact, the automobile she’s sitting in belongs to the same fella…do you suppose she might be Mrs. Gibbs?
